LABOR DAY WEEKEND CELEBRATION!!! Friday, August 31st marks the beginning of Labor Day Weekend - no work 'til Tuesday. Time to raise a glass, toast a fantastic summer and revel in the glow of one of the most festive holiday periods of the year. What better place to get your spirit soaring than The Lanai at Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach? Big, beautiful deck perched high above Waikiki, the sun, moon and stars beaming above and Tavana immersing all in soul-stirring sounds. A musical / community experience that's as good as it gets in our book. And there's a cherry on top. Singer-songwriter / playwright / actress, Lucie Lynch, joins Tavana on-stage this Friday. About Lucie: Raised in Germany, Lynch's theatrical background is readily apparent in her music. Having studied both theatre and music at Schauspiel Studio in Hamburg, Lynch went on to write, produce and perform a one-woman musical, 'Gabrielle's Universe' (the story of a neurotic secretary who marries her typewriter in search of true love), across Germany before landing in Honolulu where she co-wrote, produced and performed the award-winning musical, 'Money Talks: But What The Hell Is It Saying?' This theatrical immersion has served Lynch well in her music with her sweet voice telling stories in beautiful, captivating fashion. A soaring pau hana Friday is just around the corner. We've had lots of big crowds throughout the summer. Looking forward to another full house overflowing with energy. Come get your holiday weekend started off right! As always, admission is free. Plus, there's free valet & self parking with $20 food and/or beverage purchase. Then, on Saturday, September 1st, Tavana will be playing a double-header in Kailua at both Lanikai Brewing Company's all-day 1 year Anniversary Party of craft brew pub 'Tap & Barrel' at 7 p.m. in the outdoor festival lot, and then goes on for a full rock show at 9:30 p.m. at nearby Boardrider's Bar & Grill!

sdcnks for sharing the article, and more importantly, your personal experience mindfully using our emotions as data about our inner state and knowing when it’s better to de-escalate by taking a time out are great tools. Appreciate you reading and sharing your story since I can certainly relate and I think others can to
