Tavana is back at Crossroads Hawaiian Brian's on Thursday, March 14th featuring drummer Mark Lindberg and bassist Ian Sheridan in a new concept group called 'Tavana Electric' where Tavana stands up - leaving his drum pedal board behind - and freely moves around the stage gathering momentum and energy as he goes, putting on a positively electric performance! Mark Lindberg is originally from the Pacific Northwest, but moved to Honolulu to study classical percussion at UH Manoa in 2002. Since then he has since performed with numerous groups and artists across Hawaii including Willie K, Yoza, Blayne Asing, Evan Khay, and many others. He also recorded alongside Tavana on Tavana's 2017 Na Hoku Hanohano Award nominated album, 'Aloha Spirit.' When not performing, Mark teaches music and works as an audio engineer. Ian Sheridan is a professional bassist, producer and mixing engineer who played bass with Jason Mraz for 8 years, touring the world and performing on multiple Grammy award winning tracks and albums. He is currently based on Oahu where he maintains a production studio that has produced and engineered award winning music for Left Hand Smoke and others. He also performs with his band, Richie Aldente, that tours regionally and has received national radio play. Check out Mark Lindberg and Ian Sheridan below, and don't forget to get your tickets so you don't miss this rocking first unveiling of 'Tavana Electric!'
