Tavana is super excited to be featuring Guy James on Tuesday, June 13th at Crossroads Hawaiian Brian's at 9 p.m. Born Oct 7, 1991 and raised throughout Southern California; Guy James started playing music in high school after a friend loaned him his first acoustic guitar and taught him a basic 12 bar blues lesson. The blues opened the flood gates and in poured influences from a variety of genres like Jazz, Classical, progressive rock and many other sounds he discovered through his studies. "My vision as a musician is to be versatile, open minded and to always keep growing through practice and performance." It's this fundamental vision guy learned early on that led him to studying music in school, then joining the United States Air Force band to step into the role of becoming a professional musician. Guy currently lives and works in Honolulu, HI. SPECIAL UPDATE!!!: Tavana will also be featuring his great friend and outstanding acoustic guitar player, Max Blake!
